Just 15 minutes drive from the hotel, one arrives at Mycenae, the famous Ancient town, and in 25 minutes the Ancient amphitheatre of Epidaurus. The walk inside the historical town of Mycenae, visiting the monuments and the palace of Agamemnon lets you step back in time. The well known theater of Epidaurus, which was built in the 14th century, hosts every summery (from June to September) the illustrious Epidaurus Festival of classical drama and music attracting a vast amount of spectators.

A two-hour drive and you arrive at the city of Olympia where at the Ancient stadium the first Olympic Games used to take place. The famous Corinthia and Argolis wine regions is an exceptional experience to visit and find out about the local wine production and the superb wine tastes. The acclaimed Nemea wine region, is also a definite must in your itinerary.

Furthermore, guests can enjoy wandering through the small paths of the city of Nafplion, bustling with shops, museums, traditional taverns, archaeological attractions and cosmopolitan nightlife. The central piazza is the ideal place to enjoy a coffee under the shady trees adjacent to the Archaeological Museum. The town is also a convenient base from where you can explore several classical treasures in the surrounding country side.

Every summer, important cultural festivals are organized at the city of Nafplion attracting visitors and vacationers from around the world. International orchestras and soloists participate in the musical nights that take place at the most beautiful areas of the town. The festivals begin at the end of June till the beginning of July with highlights, the Venetian night celebrated annually and the Nautical Week celebrated every two years.
